Our working paper series disseminates high-quality research by SITES members to the scientific community and the interested public worldwide before they are published in academic journals.
Papers are subject to a “light-touch” peer review process. A member of the editorial board will send your paper to one reviewer selected from the panel of reviewers. The selected reviewer will provide a short written review within three weeks. The revised version of the paper, together with a reply to the reviewers, should be sent to the Managing Editor, who will make the final decision about the publication. When submitting, the authors should indicate if the paper has already undergone peer-review, in which case the Managing Editor may decide to skip the peer review process.
SITES Working Papers are assigned an ISBN and are published on the SITES website and the dedicated REPEC/ECONPAPERS repository, free of charge. SITES Working Papers cannot be revised or withdrawn once published, so please ensure that your submitted paper is ready for circulation and that publication in a working paper series will not conflict with potential journal submissions.
